Author Topic: CentOS 5.2 - Can't find MySQL and Can't see file access rights  (Read 1522 times)

Using the GUI installation process, when Calem does its check, it cannot see the currently installed version of MySQL or determine whether file access rights have been correctly set. There are yellow splats next these elements in the list.

If I just move on, I have to manually create the Calem user and Calem database before the install can continue. It coughs again when it tries to load the sample data.

My suspicion is the first problem is causing the rest of the problems. Any thoughts anyone?
