help! i'm stuck at 3312 entries..

help me please..

my database is now reaching 3312 entries. but everytime i added new data(s) by importing from excel (with navicat), it always stuck: i can login to calem, but the asset list is blank. when i delete the data back to 3312 entries, everything is back to normal. so i tried to input it manually (from the calem asset form). it works, but when i refresh it, the data from my custom field (table name "zc_asset" on mysql) are missing / not shown. but when i check the mysql manually, it exist normally. i went back to calem and try to logoff and login again, it cannot display the asset list anymore. i forced to add more data to it, and the custom field are still not shown, and again the asset list stuck..

so, my guess is i'm stuck to 3312 entries..

please help, i don't know where the bug is..

Take a look at calem.log and php logs which might have some info.

After you ran into the issue search in the log file for "error" around the time when blank screen occurred.

i did not find any error on that perticular moment..

again, i try to restore my database and delete some entries to 3312. i log in to calem. everything ok. i try to input manually. everything ok, and the last line show the exact data like this example:

3313 | asset/01/2008 | cpu | acer | finance | sub-dealer

but when i refesh it, the lines become like this:

3313 | asset/01/2008 | cpu | ....... | ........... | ................
3314 | ...................... | ....... | acer | finance | sub-dealer

(the dots mean blank)

the "acer", "finance", "sub-dealer" belong to custom field (zc_asset)
i log out and try log in, it won't dislay the asset again.
so i check the mysql and the last entry that i input are both in the same position 3313 (in table "asset" and table "zc_asset).

Thanks for the info. This issue is identified as a defect. You data is kept in the database intact.

The asset list being blank issue was caused by mantis 90 that have been resolved. It will be included in r2.1.

thank god u found the cure!
so is this mean there is nothing i could do to fix my current application, and i should wait for the next release?

When the asset list shows blank, you may use search to restrict the data you work with. Can you try this out? The goal is to find a workaround so you can still use CalemEAM.

i can't use the search form. nothing to click, because the list header is not even shown..

Thanks for the info. There are two options: a) wait for R2.1 which is coming out around end of March; b) get latest snapshot from sourceforge source tree, build and deploy it. If option b) does not sound familiar (to deal with source code), you should wait for R2.1.
