Asset List Report

We are developing/evaluating an asset management system. We need a way to print out a list of assets. We would like to customize what fields show up on the list and be able to filter those. Does your system have this capability?

Another feature that would be nice would be to be able to export a list to excel.

BTW: I really like what I've seen. It looks very comprehensive.

Jason, CalemEAM does most of the functions for Asset List report already:
- Print a list report
- Customize fields to show on the report
- Filter by the fields

The missing functionality is:
- Export to excel

We like the idea of 'exporting to Excel' and there's a PEAR library to do this already so we opened a request to add this function and got it into the upcoming release R2.1.

Is there any documentation on how to print a list report? I didn't readily see how to do it on the demo site.

Jason, we have reworked the list report in CalemEAM thanks to your request.

- Added export to excel to our list report. Inventory order list report is also updated. Both demo and document are changed for this report also. See document at:

The report indeed works, but I have one problem with it which I am not sure if is it designed to do this or a bug:

When applying a search, you see the results on the screen. When than trying to export this result, it actually exports (or prints) the whole list of assets, not just the search result.

Is this by design?
