Document Module

Is there a size and/or type limitation on the files that can be uploaded?  Also, where are the files stored on the server once they are uploaded.  Then finally, is there a way to download the files after they have been uploaded?

If anyone knows it would be very helpful!  Thanks!

The wiki documentation for the Document module implies that a file upload field exists, but a file upload field does not exist on the form. There is a textarea field called Content for accepting text input which is not mentioned in the documentation.
