Title: Parent Assets to show Child Assets
Post by: waldoj on August 29, 2007, 04:38:17 pm
Is there any way that when you assign an asset as a parent asset you could
then see which child assets are contain within that parent asset?

e.g. Asset 1 is the parent asset of Asset 2

when I select/open Asset 1 is it possible to know of the existence of Asset 2

There's no view in asset form to display the child assets. This is a good point. We will explore if we can add it.

Asset form has a menu to view child assets. Have you used that menu?

Hi,
I'm new in CalemEam and my company is looking for a light EAM system.

It could be great if the parent-child relationship could be seen as a treeview with drag and drop feature.

Thanks a lot for your work,

Olivier
