Title: Adding an hyperlink to the asset description
Post by: gmanca on December 11, 2007, 05:00:12 am
Hello,
is it possible to add an hyperlink to a website on the asset table? I tried adding a custom field but the content always shows as a simple text.

Thanks,
GM

Hyperlink fields are not supported at this time. So this cannot be added. I have added a project proposal request in Mantis:

We've had a couple of meetings at work while evaluating the application and this topic has come up several times. Having the cabability to create formated text is text area fields using a WYSIWYG editor like TinyMCE might be a possible solution. Then, standard anchor elements with href attributess or something like BBCODE could be used to embed hyperlinks in text. This would come in handy throughout the application (e.g., adding hyperlinks to a document or external site where a procedure might exist for performing a PM inspection, calibration, etc.
