Title: Setup can't identify existing db with innodb
Post by: stennom on November 18, 2008, 10:34:56 am
Hi there,

I've installed CalemEAM on an XAMPP stack on Windows as per the Setup Guide for R2.1.   The /installation/index.php page claims "we cannot verify your database at this time..."  However MySQL version 5.0.51 is running and php is configured for innoDB as per the "see here to enable innoDB" link.  There are other apps running on the MySQL instance.   Note that the root password for MySQL has been changed.  Could this be the problem.  If so, where does one configure a database UID and Password for CalemEAM.

Thanks for reading this.  Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

The UID and password are prompted in installation screens after this screen. You may ignore the text about database verification you quoted.
