I am experiencing similar problem...I have no idea what I am doing wrong here. I followed the instruction with exception of enable phd_pdo.dll. I got an error and I had to disable it. Below is the php error log file.

Found this in the Wiki. It might help, if everyone hasn't already given up...

Client Configuration
Client configuration (at CalemEAM/client/conf) includes CalemConf.js and CalemConf.custom.js. Create CalemConf.custom.js from CalemConf.custom.sample.js if it is the first time customizing client configuration (so CalemConf.custom.js does not exist).

When client configuration changes are complete. Go to CalemEAM/bin directory, run command 'deploy.bat build' (or ./deploy.sh build) to build client packages for changes to be effective.

The time displayed on the workorder form, workorder print-out, and the value in the db are all different for the same field.  For example,

On the screen for the Origination Time Requested, a record shows:  Wed, 5/11/11 7:55 AM
The printout shows:  Wed, 05/11/11 1:55 pm
The database value for the orig_time field is:  2011-05-11 11:55:00

Why are all three different, for the same field?  I checked the time on the server, and the timezone and both are correct.  Can anything be done about this?

This turned out to be a setting in my php.ini file.  For some reason it was set to Berlin, Germany timezone.  I never set the timezone in php.ini so, it must have been that way from the initial install (This was a VMWare VM with XAMPP installed)

Setup / Cannot log in after install

So after slogging my way through setup of CalemEAM Community, go to log in with the default admin/admin_password combo, and the log-in fails.  In browsing the database created in MySQL, I see that there is an admin user that has been added, and I assume the password is hashed or protected by some other means.

Any help out there?

Fraid not... there is more funtionality in the Calem Enterprise Edition.  If you attempt to remove the buttons or change the functionality of buttons I would imagine it will break in many locations.  You can edit the fields, delete fields, add fields, but can not remove the buttons you desire.

I do not believe that the free community edition will work the way you desire.  It's free, so some functionality is left for the regular edition.   None the less.... I have used Calemeam community edition for going on 5 years now.  Once installed, haven't had really any issues.  Yes it would be great if it automatically assigned the creator and requestor.  But again, for free it's excellent.
