Associating document with asset

Is it possible to associate a document with an asset with CalemEAM? Ideally, I would like to be able to attach design documents (eg. AutoCAD files, etc.) to assets. If this isn't already available, it would be simple to implement if you linked files to documents, and documents to assets. If this feature is or will be available, we will likely deploy CalemEAM in our company.

What version is this functionality available in then? Nothing on the product comparison chart indicates whether or not this feature is available.

There is a rather non elegant but effective solution to this and that is to add new field and call the say : User manual and populate them with the URL of the uploaded user manual on the server , all you would then need to do the would be to copy and paste this url onto a new tab in your browser and it would download the document
