Problem with times
« on: January 10, 2008, 04:14:25 am »
Hi, I don't understand why after populating a time in the interface,
in the database appears a time differing about an hour.
Example.
I insert Thu, 1/10/08 10:02 AM and in the database I find
09:02: AM. I must change something in configuration?

Thanks.
Angelo

Database stores GMT time, user interface uses local time.

Sorry for the ignorance.   But I also have a related problem with the local time.  After logging-in, screen displays name of user and local time.  local time is not the same as my local time.  If default database time is GMT how can I change it to my local time?

Unfortunately the database time cannot be changed. Let's take a look at your client environment. What's the client operating system (Windows, Mac) and browser version (IE or FireFox)?

We have tested in Windows with IE 7 and FF 1.5. In Windows you can change time zone, CalemEAM should display the same time as your time zone.

Dear Admin, i need your help, I need to save the dates / times in local time in the database. I have reviewed the code but I have not yet clear what to do.

  Greatly appreciate your help.

  Thank you. Greetings.
