"no active transaction" error when using web installer
« on: June 09, 2008, 03:21:20 pm »
When I use the web installer I get the error “There are errors in configuring database. Please resolve the issues below.  There is no active transaction" after inputting my information about what database and user I would like to use.

I am using Ubuntu 8.04 LTS with LAMP installed and running.  Although I get this error, when I look at the query browser I see that 117 tables are added to the calem database.  I thought for a while that this was because I did not manually install InnoDB but I can not confirm my suspicions.

I have run out of ideas where to look for a solution for this, so if someone can help me out it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I'm having the same issue. Did you ever get it resolved?

Thanks

There is a workaround for this issue. See the mantis issue.
