Inventory storerooms for various purposes may be used for maintenance operations. For example, a general storeroom holds parts and consumables for maintenance, a repair storeroom is to keep parts repaired and ready for reuse. It may be necessary to receive parts from PO to the general storeroom only. 

The following steps show how this function is implemented in Calem.

  1. Designate a category set of storerooms for PO receiving. For instance, "PO-Receiving" is created to include categories of storerooms that can receive from PO.
  2. It is done from menu: Admin | Data Design | Storeroom Category Sets
  3. Set "Receiving Stores" in EAM company to the category set created above.
  4. It is done from menu: Organization | EAM Company
