PM Blackout

PM blackout is defined as period of time when PMs should not be generated. The blackout can be holidays when facilities are closed and there are no people around.

  • PM blackout periods are defined in the Site Time Off form (Schedule module | Open | Site Time Off) with "PM blackout?" checked.

The screenshot below shows that 3/1/14 to 3/3/14 were blacked out.

PM blackout can also be defined by week days. For instance, the following screen blacks out Fridays so that PMs with due dates on Fridays will not be generated.

Blackout can be configured at PM level:

  • If a PM's due date is inside a blackout period, the system will adjust its due date to be after the blackout time
  • A PM can be configured to ignore blackout periods by checking the "Ignore blackout?" flag at the PM form.

See Calem Enterprise User Guide for more information about the PM Blackout.
